@bcworkz Thanks for your response. I actually did everything that you wrote as a lot of the people in forums and support were recommending to do the same. deactivating plugins, and the original theme, clearing cache and cookies. RIP to my saved data. but as a last resort, I started deactivating the extensions and with the very 1st google chrome extension, the problem was solved.
