In reply to: [Plugin: All in One SEO Pack] – Used to Be a Good Plug-inMy apologies to the programmer. I do appreciate the work put into every script and I realize each programmer does it with best of intentions. it gets pretty frustrating when things that used to work no longer work for you and instead of doing what you need to do, you spend hours making the script function.

In reply to: Http error in uploading filesI started having problems with uploader after todays upgrade to v2.8.4, however seems like WP.org support is dwindling. Last 7 support requests I have submitted over the period of few months got a grand total of ZERO responses. Platform that has zero support is basically worthless.

In reply to: Breaking Comments Into Pages Doesn’t Work – What am I Doing Wrong?I have not been able to make this work at all despite trying since. I have upgraded twice since and am on v2.8 now, yet pagination for comments doesn’t work at all. Truly a frustrating issue since I got posts with 700+ comments by now and it both takes a while to load and puts lots of strain on the server 🙁
Hey esmi,
the category-nn.php advice was fantastic and helped me achieve great results. The code you have suggested however doesn’t work. I found a solution that does though in the meantime. Thanks for the category-nn.php tip though. That’s one of the best tips I have gotten on WP yet 🙂

In reply to: The Only Way to Exclude a Category Busts Title TagHey Greenshady, title tag is the title tag that’s in the head of your site, aka <title> – I always used to refer to it as title tag, not sure what proper name for it is.
I was able to eventually make it work by modifying functions.php file as per this tutorial, however it’s really frustrating to see how there would be first 20 pages in each search engines full of codes that don’t work. Guy spends hours upon hours messing around with useless codes internet is full of.

Hey esmi, it doesn’t look like there is any category.php file in my theme. Any ideas?

In reply to: Can Gallery Feature be Done Right At Last, Please? Is there any way I could escalate this to the developers so it doesn’t get buried and never dealt with?

In reply to: DB Backup folder visible to the publicI still find it very unstable. It worked for me on one site, but doesn’t on another. Backup-db folder is there, .htaccess file is within it, the folder it CHMOD’d to 777, yet still the message. Definitely a buggy stuff. However it worked on another blog. All I can say is – unstable

In reply to: [NSFW] Firefox Problems – Half of my Posts Not ShowingIt doesn’t do nothing. It seems as though FF displays an ancient version of the site and refuses to refresh. Ctrl + F5 has no effect. The version that it displays is two months old. That’s some serious caching situation that FF sports.
However there is some success – at least if I cut and paste a URL of the post that was previously completely ignored by FF, now it displays it. Which kind of makes it clear in my mind that the old theme I had there was the root of all evil.
