wouldn’t it be easier to just have the widget display where you want it, rather than limiting it everywhere?

I’m not sure that tag was even supported in the original widget logic plugin? had you used it there, or just in this plugin?
actually it does work for us, in all tests in multiple websites. We have no problems making widgets display on all posts pages or a single post page. there must be something in your WP install (plugins or theme) causing this not to work right. Do you have any more details?

In reply to: [Wordpress Text Message] [Plugin: WordPress Text Message] broken@brianleon – you can’t just say “it doesn’t work” and have no details – how can we troubleshoot that? Works fine for us in all test sites with different theme and plugin configurations, so we need more information.
@josh, @esmi – there’s nothing to be cautious about, those are widget placement files used for testing, you can delete theme (they don’t do anything). We’ll remove them in the next release.
