I have the same problem. It first appeared on the 28th of March on both of my websites. It would be great to have a solution soon.

It is the same issue I reported I guess. I saw a new update is released, 2.21.2. Can anyone confirm that this solves the carousel issues?
My buttons are also gone after the automatic installation of version 1.8.1.
