In reply to: [Twenty Seventeen] How to Get Page Layout to Emulate Blog LayoutThanks Alan, you were completely right but sadly this doesn’t fix the problem. All I get is a page title taking up the entire left column. It even mentions this on the settings.
”When the two-column layout is assigned, the page title is in one column and content is in the other.”
I’m trying to get away from this layout that just wastes screen space.

Sadly no. I’m not seeing that. I’ve no idea why not. This is the latest version of 2017. I installed it yesterday. The only gear icon that shows up anywhere in any of the theme tweaks is in the ‘Menus’ section.

Or am I misunderstanding the purpose of this page? Is the Login Welcome page what they see AFTER logging in or is it where they go to Login?

Yes I was needing the two file formats in the same row but each in their own separate column. So you’d have AIFF on the left and then MP3 on the right in an adjecent column.
As I mentioned, if the MP3 link got replaced by the wp audio player that would be perfect.
The reason it needs to be displayed in that way is so that a user can easily identify which mp3 is a preview of the AIFF files.
If I display a different table of MP3 under the AIFF table the user won’t have a clue whats going on as a list might contain 100 or more files, so you can see the need to have them side by side.
Should I send a photoshop rendering of my vision so you can see exactly what I’m harping on about? Not sure how to send an attachment via this forum though. Can I email you?

Having the wordpress audio player in one column next to the aiff files would be utterly tremendous. That way my members can preview a lofi sound file first. It would save them their allotted downloads and it would save my bandwidth.
