    I was about to do your suggestions when I checked the blog one last time and it was sitting there, perfectly sound.

    So what’s going on? Is it my computer? (I checked my other WP blogs yesterday and they were all fine, except for this one.)The host?

    I guess this issue is resolved but it’s very strange.

    Thanks for your time, Podz. Should the issue happen again and not magically fix itself, I’ll do what you suggested.

    I don’t think I have any plugins that affect user levels. My current plugins:
    subscribe2
    spellchecker
    unavailable
    markdown
    textile1
    I’ll delete those if you think it will help.

    My WP admin panel is all screwed up too. I assume the problem is at the root of the system somehow, but I have no clue how to pinpoint it.

    That did the trick. I never even thought to check my plugins. How simple. Whew.

    Learn something new everyday.

    (GLAD this was so easily resolved.)
