You know what, I think it may have been a problem for a while but it’s only until recently when I’ve been setting up some other sites, that I had noticed the problem so am putting it down to the theme.
The health check all comes back OK, annoyingly.
I’ve installed this now and it’s working so as a workaround that’s good. https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/cookie-law-info/reviews/

And the themes custom JS is being used.
How do I go about enqueing it? I can find lots about removing it.Hi Jerry
The odd thing is I have worked on another site – http://www.club-85.co.uk – that has the same banner and this does appear as a floating banner.
On the one with the problem, the banner was added by adding the available widget that appears in the widget view. Appearance – Widgets – and added to the Footer section. This was actually done for the one above too which is a bit confusing!
The banner itself is not modified in any way that I know of.
I have just created a new htaccess based on the following https://htaccessbook.com/htaccess-redirect-https-www/ and this seems to be working correctly. Not sure why the problem started though.
Went back into WP and also enabled “Enable WordPress 301 redirection to SSL” as it threw an error.
The odd thing is, the 301 redirect is already enabled in the settings.
I think I am getting the same problem.
I have a WordPress blog at http://www.frantik-web.co.uk/franblog. If I access the link like so, it just loads the website http://www.frantik-web.co.uk and not the WordPress site. If I load the https link explicitly, then the site loads eg: https://frantik-web.co.uk/franblog/
This was working fine until recently. The things I have changed, updated to PHP 7.4 and updated to WordPress 5.5.1

I’m seeing the same problem. As the robots.txt file is generated by WordPress, is the problem with this plugin as it adds the sitemap URL to robots?
Presumably if you untick the “Add sitemap URL to the virtual robots.txt file” it’ll probably be okay but can see it’s only happened in the last week or so.- This reply was modified 5 years, 10 months ago by tobyw7.

@gaycarnes this turns out to be a problem with the Jetpack plugin. The gallery does publish, just refresh the page.

Sorry for the late reply.
The second Blog is hosted with the same company – HostGator. But they’re on different servers so it could be security permissions on the servers.I believe the plugin is now working for me but I will see and let you know if not.
