In reply to: Blank WebsiteThank you for all your help, but i’m going to give up for the day. Getting stressed now.
There is still no content and i’ve tried everything you said, i think i’ll have to contact the theme designer.
Thanks again

In reply to: Blank WebsiteBasically, everything was fine, all running great apart from a tiny bit of script which linked my gallery images to a lightbox, i contacted the theme creater and he told me to change a bit of script in the functions.php.
I did this and it caused a parse syntax error, which i posted on here and i was advided to login to my host and change the name of the theme folder to force it to revert to the original settings.
When i did this i was allowed to login into wordpress which i couldn’t do previously.
Now i can login to wordpress but nothing is showing on my pages.
Basically all i want to do is revert the whole site back to how it was before i made the original change.
Can i do that?

In reply to: Blank Websitei think i know what the problem is, in my hosting i had to change the name of the theme to force it to work to xsideways instead of sideways, when i go into my themes in wordpress is says that the information is located in the xsideways file, but that has now reverted back to sideways (in the hosting).
How can i change the folder in the theme of wordpress back to just sideways?

In reply to: Add image to sidebar? That space is not editable, it is your background image.
If you want to do this you will have to design your background image in advance and upload it appropraitely depnding upon your template.

In reply to: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.Your permissions must have been changed for you as a user.
Go to users and you should be able to check this.
Also in settings it will ask who is allowed to access comments, this may have been changed too.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Linking to another page. Its really simple…
1. Create the page you want to link to and copy the url.
2. Create the title or text you want to use as the link.
3. In Editor highlight the text.
4. Select the icon with the chain on it and input (paste) or choose the page from the options.
5. Publish.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Beginner questionsIt sounds like you need to research and add the appropriate plugins.
Some are free and will do different things so you may need to run several at once.
Go to plugins – Add new – Search and enter your search requirments.
Or google the plugins and search for the name.Forum: Fixing WordPress
