I am having a similar issue. I have multiple GA tracking tags that are preventing me from adding a conversion tracking tag from Google Ads. I have tried everything over the moon to try to find the source code and remove the duplicates but I have not had any luck.
What’s more strange, is that when I use plug-ins to modify the header, the code that the plug-ins show is not the same as when I inspect the page on Chrome. I can see all the duplicate tags in the Chrome page inspection code, but not in WP.
I had tried using the Site Kit plug-in to activate tags manager, and still, I can’t get rid of the existing duplicate tags.
