You’re welcome.
BTW, beautiful, beautiful places and photos.@yogieanamcara As you can see, thumbs are not the same size, the first is 169×100, the others are 149×100 or 133×100. Your layout is 636 width and 676 height.
Put in custom CSS style:.ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box { margin-right: 0; }If it doesn’t work:
.ngg-gallery-thumbnail-box { margin-right: 0 !important; }Et voilà you’ll have 3 colums, but you have to fix anyway thumbs dimensions in Gallery settings options, to make them look better.
@yogieanamcara If you get that result with “0” probably your images aren’t all the same size.
You have to adjust image size and/or template’s CSS, but without a link to the page with the problem you can’t have a concrete help.@missfinan, that grey line is not given by NGG but from your theme, at line 47 in /wp-content/themes/organic_nonprofit/style.css.
I think it’s a premium theme, so you have to ask support to the vendors if you are not able to modify CSS by yourself. For custom template, you have to upload it via FTP in your theme directory.
@fassrl NGG create thumbs after images upload according to the dimensions setted in Gallery Settings, so if you want to change thumbs dimensions for a new gallery before uploading the new images, you have to change that value.
@yogieanamcara your question is very frequent, and if you had searched you would have found it.
Set “0” in number of columns option usually is the best choice to fit images in the content.Only two images get indexed that are face of the album.
Is there a way to index all my images?@scorpius, it’s not sitemap to index your posts, pages and images, but are search engines as Google. Sitemaps are good, but their job is only to create a more readable list of content for the robots, sitemap have no index power and Google index what he wants to and how many he wants to, sitemap or not.
To me, Google indexes NGG images as much as the WP images, there is no difference, and I use the Yoast sitemap excluding ngg_tag taxonomy in the sitemap.
Put name, title and description in your NGG images before leave them in the web, maybe put them in a page (pages goes in sitemap) and them will be indexed as the other images: i.e. at Google’s discretion.I tried to disable the plugins and the theme. Suddenly it worked.
That’s the good point from which you have to start again.
If you enable all plugins at once you can’t see which one cause conflict, you have to activate one by one and check every time.
I don’t know why the second time it hasn’t worked, but you have to try again, with no hurry. I know that this in a live site is a little bit annoying, but you have to do it if you want to find a solution.
Anyway, qTranslate can cause this type of issue.@uraster Activate default theme and deactivate (not remove) all plugins (except Nextgen) is a standard common practice used by millions to test any possible conflict, and doesn’t destroy anything.
Once done, clear cache and you’ll see if all works as expected. If it works, reactivate one by one (theme and plugins) checking every time until you find the culprit. Is it possible to have “Post name” permlinks with NextGEN Gallery?
Yes, but how about the things I suggested above?
@asmondien My suggestion for web server it’s to open a ticket with your service provider describing your issue and ask if this could be related to WinCache or so. I could be wrong, but your seems like an issue given by server misconfiguration.
Google: http://goo.gl/tbDYco
@uraster you have a custom permalink structure, so someone has setted in this way, from WP menu settings on the left (I don’t how is in your language) > PermalinkPlease don’t mix your issue with @anagram@glossolalie.be, this is much confusing and he has to open his own topic with his own problem.
@uraster your second page is http://ludi-mladi.ch/de/galerien/bilder/nggallery/page/2/
Try this: set permalinks to default, save, refresh, clear cache and see if it works – then set again your custom permalinks.
If it doesn’t work, test as requested in this forum’s home page (default theme and all plugins deactivated but NGG)Strange that nobody seems to know
You posted your question just about 18 hours ago, and if in your first post you had put useful information instead of fake URLs now you could be further on your issue, so it isn’t strange
Yes, I understand that ride the highways with a motorbike is more fun;)
You are using legacy shortcode. There’s nothing wrong with it but you can try the new place holder codes clicking on Nextgen button in post/page visual editor and choose Basic Slideshow and the gallery you want to display.
Otherwise you if want to stay on legacy shortcodes, for slideshow you have to write
[slideshow id=33]
