@jamie7777 Since your issue is theme related, you should ask to the theme’s author. That theme has a native system for images and galleries so it seems a conflict, and in fact in your source I see that some NextGEN references are missing.
@ph_remy You’re right, but I haven’t yet meet a plugin that, deleted via dashboard, takes away all of his stuff. In fact, very few are equipped with an uninstall.php.
@neo1987 From read-this-before-you-open-a-new-thread
– Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to the WP default, and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (*be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating)
@sundara Have you tried all the available effects?
@bonnypiscione Maybe you’ve done some modifications in theme code during this last week, because in your source I see some extra-space at the top of your pages that shouldn’t be there.
Try with a WordPress default theme and see if it works.@alex75bo There’s no set for this.
@nouran_mahmoud a link to the page with the issue would be more useful, as deactivating all other plugins together with the activation of a WordPress default theme and clearing cache, to see if the issue disappear, and to find the culprit reactivating them one by one.
@kifiko what you want to do don’t hurt but it’s useless. Removing gallery folder as it is and then upload it as it is don’t change nothing.
Maybe it can be more productive upload a fresh folder of NextGEN overwriting it via FTP, although looking at your previous topic I have some doubts, but it’s not harmful.
If your issue is the same as in your previous topic, it would be better for you stand there to avoid loss of information or confusion.
I read that you’ve already done the troubleshooting and this hasn’t brought results, but sometimes this process isn’t done correctly and with attention and can go negative.@webalma I forgot to say that you should also try another NextGEN effect, like shutter or fancy-box. In this way you could avoid the use of another plugin, if one of those different from “lightbox” works and you like it.
@webalma you can put the link here, at most it is useless but it does not hurt.
If it isn’t a theme made by yourself you should ask its author.
Also, you should think if you have done some changes in your theme, and if this is the case you should return back.
The risk of continuing to use an older version of any plugin is that these could be no longer compatible with the new versions of WordPress.@webalma If you want to continue using your theme you have to fix it, but without knowing it nobody can tell you how.
@big Mac Deactivate all other plugins and activate a WordPress default theme, clear cache, and check if everything is OK.
Then, activate theme and plugins one by one, checking each time until you’ll find the culprit.@acekin, there’s no compatibility between the two plugins, and you can’t work with both of them.
Don’t know for how long, though, if it’s a cache issue
Indeed, it comes and goes, and now feeds aren’t working again. I don’t know if it’s a conflict with W3TC, but it seems a cache issue.
