A few measely hours of digging and getting a headache, I found that there is a value called IPN in the Paypal account that controls where Paypal sends the acknowledgment to, and while it was turned on, it was also set to disabled. That makes no sense that it is even possible to be turned on and be diasabled – anyway, I changed the value to not disabled, went to IPN History and resent the IPN and after a few minutes the transaction was displayed in Event Manager, and the status changed to Approved.
Hope my dialogue here may save someone else some time and frustration.
Ok, I saw a similar problem posted on another website and his posted solution – I ended up going and making a completely new user, turned off the No-User Booking, back on, and then I was able to select the default user.
I processed via PAypal another registration, and it went smooth and Paypal sent a confirmation email to my email address – HOWEVER – in the bookings detail screen it still shows Awaiting Paypal Payment. Where do I start looking to solve this one?
So 1 and 3 are solved, 2 is still open.
I am using No-User Booking Mode, set to Yes, Allow bookings with registered emails – yes.
Assign bookings to is not assigned, and dropdown has no users listed to choose from. Should this be listing the currently established users of the wordpress site? or?#2 is observed as the status in the bookings screen

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Fatal Error WPSC_CountriesI’m trying to play catchup tonight, I’m sorry I disappeared I had a small out of town crises to attend to. Yes I use Godaddy and its their wordpress specific plan. My site appears to be working as it should – thank you.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Fatal Error WPSC_CountriesI failed to say, that only fixes it for a few minutes. Chrome SEEMS to encounter the error less than IE, that may just be my perception.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Fatal Error WPSC_CountriesOk, I WAS able to find and make the code change above, the problem still exists, BUT with 2 browser windows open, one on the WordPress admin panel, and the other one the webpage, when I get the fatal error (roughly every 3rd try) I can hit F5 to refresh as many times as I want and always get the fatal error. BUT if I flip to the admin panel and flush the cache and flip back to the browser window on my website and hit f5, it loads every single time!. I’ve now replicated it nearly 20-25 times. Does this piece of information help anyone more knowledgeable?

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Fatal Error WPSC_CountriesJust to acknowledge this little gremlin started to occur on my website intermittently today. Website has been in place for a few years now, why today? rjsbeefarm.com
Clearing caches and all the normal high level non expert stuff had no effect. site loads fine one time, then 2 minutes later the nasty little fatal error messages. Not sure I am confident to attempt the code changes specified above.
