Samboll – Have you seen the email I sent you late yesterday afternoon (EST)? I am still stuck.
I have a very similar problem. I am hosted on 1and1. They say that we must have a file called index.html in the root (/) directory. I have put wp-admin, wp-content and wp-includes in /, but the only index.html file has nothing to do with WordPress! Where have I gone wrong?
Samboll – You were correct. I messed up, but have now fixed that, but still get error 404. The remainder of my original post is still the same. Any other ideas?
