i just deactivated the plugin “WordPress Access Control” and that was the problem. kmessinger, you were right the first time! i must have missed that one. If you know of a good membership type plugin that doesn’t have these bugs let me know. thanks for the help!

I will look through the list but this issue was here prior to 3.7. I’m new to WordPress so i’m sure its something simple that i just don’t know about. The issue i’m having is on the navigation menu at the top of my website. The menu functions one way, but after a user logins in to the membership area of my site, the submenu drop down feature disappears. I’ll keep digging but any other ideas would be great. if you go to http://www.trumarkifs.com and hover over “about us” you will see it drop down just fine. But if you were to login as a user, that feature stops working.

I tried deactivating all plugins and it didn’t work. i think maybe i wasn’t clear enough on my issue. I can login to wordpress no problem, its the naviation bar across the top that changes functionality after i login. I have a members only area and once i login as a member/regular user, the drop down menu disappears. I only see the top level menu. For example, when you hover over “about” a list of 3 submenu options should appear (news, team, history, etc.) but they don’t for some reason.
