I followed steps from their video tut and the slider works fine on my blog.
I downloaded wowslider wizard, created slideshow in it, saved as zip (Publish as “WordPress slider”) then install this zip through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress and added shortcode..
Note I didn’t download the plugin from wordpress.org
