I hope I’m not the only person that uses IXwebhosting on here. I know it’s not that popular. If anybody can help me with this issue, it would be most helpful. I still have not found any help elsewhere.

oh okay. That makes sense. Maybe the installation of WordPress itself set it off. I did have to do a bunch of reinstalls cause microsoft expression has a crappy ftp client. lol. Filezilla finally did the job. Maybe all those reinstalls seemed suspicious cause it involved alot of deleting and reapplying. Or something like that. But i think I’ll contact them tommorrow.

Thanks that link explained a lot about 403 errors. It would seem then that my message is acting like a 403 message. It doesn’t say its a 403 message, but it essentially means the same thing.

also, when I was reading that stuff about index.php, I changed my index page- the one I created for my homepage to index.php, should I change that back to .htm if that wasn’t the problem.

On other pages people talk about php verification. I use ixwebhosting, Im pretty sure they are php verified. and when they talk about index.php verification, is that a type of setting that has to be set, or do I have to do that for every index.php I have in my files?

Here, I copy and pasted my logs directly from my webshell. i’m not sure if this is what you where talking about. I’ll see if there are some on filezilla.
