I think I am in need of a more integrated calendar resource, with the possibility to control the widget and the display itself. Maybe I’ll just have to wait and see if there are some plugin developers who are working to fill this wordpress hole. I guess there are some.

Thanks for your replies! I solved the issue after adjusting the overflow and z-index in the style; i.e, I gave the banner div a z-value of 10, and the background image a value of 1.The banner inherited the position in relation to the relative wrapper surrounding both of them. Then it worked like a charm!

In reply to: Custom fields – BUG in 2.9?It was the Category Templates plugin which screwed everything up. Now I have removed this plugin and replaces it with single post template and have to manually edit every single post. At least it will work again…

I have tried disabling all plugins and my theme is literally totally unchanged since 2.8.5 and have worked perfectly on this and all other WP-versions!
For instance, on this site of mine, http://www.ordne.no, all articles has a large image above the excerpt, but after 2.9 the excerpt and the large image is gone!
And the short URL generated is invisible, but present inside wordpress. i.e.: All custom fields has become invisible.Is is even worse on some of my other sites where I use a large amount of custom fields for every post. Now, they are just skeletons. I am so frustrated and tired.

My custom field values in all my posts on all my WP-sites has become invisible after upgrading to 2.9!!! I have tried all night to solve the issue, and as far as I can see this is a WP 2.9 related bug. Please, anyone with any advice? I can’t see thousand of hours work lost because of this!!!

In reply to: My image became invisible with 2.9It appears that none of the data in custom fields will be visible on any new posts after upgrading to 2.9. All older posts (pre-2.9) got their data, but custom field data will not become visible on new posts after 2.9 ????
