Custom fields – BUG in 2.9?

    I don’t mean to spam this forum, but after upgrading to 2.9 ALL MY CUSTOM FIELD VALUES have become invisible in all my posts!!! This is so damn frustrating! I have tried everything in the book, the update was done manually as always, the custom field values are there, but nothing of them is visible after turning to 2.9!!! I am desperate, please, anyone?? This is a huge problem, since I am operating 6 sites and all of them are now updated to 2.9!!

    BUMP, seriously!! All my WP-installations are without all essential data! My custom field values in all my posts on all my WP-sites has become invisible after upgrading to 2.9!!! I have tried all night to solve the issue, and as far as I can see this is a WP 2.9 related bug. Please, anyone with any advice? I can’t see thousand of hours work lost because of this!!!

    Try disabling all the plugins and checking your theme. It’s unlikely that this is a 2.9 issue by itself as more folk would have come across it.

    I have tried disabling all plugins and my theme is literally totally unchanged since 2.8.5 and have worked perfectly on this and all other WP-versions!
    For instance, on this site of mine, http://www.ordne.no, all articles has a large image above the excerpt, but after 2.9 the excerpt and the large image is gone!
    And the short URL generated is invisible, but present inside wordpress. i.e.: All custom fields has become invisible.

    Is is even worse on some of my other sites where I use a large amount of custom fields for every post. Now, they are just skeletons. I am so frustrated and tired.

    It was the Category Templates plugin which screwed everything up. Now I have removed this plugin and replaces it with single post template and have to manually edit every single post. At least it will work again…
