In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can't add variable products to cartI read https://wordpress.org/support/topic/empty-cart-for-guest-users-permalinks-issues?replies=3
They mention Permalinks so I thought I’d check them. I have reset them now and now WIN IE, MAC FF/S/C and iPhone working. But WIN FF/C & iPad not working. I guess this will be down to cache.
I also made one of my variable products live again and this seems to be working (checked in Win IE & MAC Safari).

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can't add variable products to cartOnce you login you can then see the carts contents. Guests only see an empty cart.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can't add variable products to cartNow I’m getting an extra issue. The simple products are added to the cart – I can see them in the cart widget. But when I View Cart or click Checkout – it’s empty. But if I click to any other page the Cart Widget still shows that it’s not empty.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can't add variable products to cartIt is only added to one of the sites, which is a dedicated store.
Right I have come at this from a different angle. I registered all the posts as normal. And then depending of the variable set it will remove the menu from the backend.
function remove_menu_items() { global $brandChoice; if ( $brandChoice == 'brand1' ) { remove_menu_page( 'edit.php?post_type=cpt1' ); } else if ( $brandChoice == 'brand2' ) { remove_menu_page( 'edit.php?post_type=cpt2' ); } else { // something else } } add_action( 'admin_menu', 'remove_menu_items' );This is now working as I hoped, As I change the brand in the brand variable in the themes options and then load any other backend page the menu structure changes to only show the CPT I want to see.
okay so the if statement is working, it’s just not doing the register_post_type bit from within the if statement?
Thanks @gbonati, just downloaded this plugin to multisite and it too didn’t appear in the sidebar, do now am using 3.5.5 and it works.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Product menu option missing when Contact Form 7 plugin activeRight, it’s some thing to do with my theme. I stripped out the functions.php and added it them back in one section at a time. When I got to registering my custom posts is when the Products menu item disappears (only happens when CF7 is active).
*******
Right it seems to be only the registry of just one of my custom posts.

Narrowed it down to the ‘menu_position’ element. If this is set to ’26’ we have this conflict for some reason. I have now set it to ’27’ and “Products’ is now visible with CF7 active.

In reply to: [Email Users] emails being logged in the servers error logI have set up a test group with 11 users and when I send them out, Easy WP SMTP states they all go out, I get them all in my inbox but the server error log still has the entry???
The only I thing I can think of is that it has to to the the quantity being sent (582) and them triggering some spam filter that stops them going out?
I’ll keep investigating.
