Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable the default padding/margins.
When adding a container or widget, you will have to manually set the margin/padding to ‘0’ in the Advanced tab.
Alternatively, you can use custom CSS as well. But this is beyond the scope of our support.

You can use the section/column along with the flexbox container and you can mix them together on the same page as well.
But you will not be able to add a new section/column, when the Flexbox Container is active.
Otherwise, there is nothing to worry about.

The stretch section is only available on the Section/Column feature.
When using Flexbox container, this feature is not available as it is not required.
If you want to use the Section/column feature, you can disable Flexbox container under Elementor->Settings->Features.

It is always recommended to check the update on a staging site before using it on production site.

From the error you shared, the issue seems to be arising from the ‘events-addon-for-elementor’.
You will have to deactivate this plugin by logging into the Cpanel or by contacting your hosting provider.
