I am making a suggestion as to what might be good to have. The current functionality is not very intuitive or user friendly = having to click on the icon to view, having to click on the icon to “close”.
If you read my comment, I say, “Would it maybe be an idea to add hover support to the my account and to the mini cart?”

I can add that the picture is from a new installation with no modifications whatsoever.
