It worked!
Thank you for the extra-speedy response and help with solving this issue. It wasn’t a life/death situation, but I’d like to keep my code as clean as possible.

Mainly .. go to SETTINGS > READING and there you can set one page as the homepage and one for the blogs. Let me know if this works. If not, we’ll debug together 😉
