When editing a post or page, hit the Screen Options tab near the top-right, and check “Discussion.” This will enable the Discussion settings below the editor.

More than likely, the posts missing comments just need to have their comments switched on. 🙂

Hi,

If you need widgets in Homepage or using homepage template, then go to Reading settings and Assign a Homepage template as a home and blog blog page as a Post and save the settings. you can also following screenshot link: http://prntscr.com/rxrneq

Go to Widget (Theme Dashboard >> appearance >> widget ) and Use widget or drag on frontpage section widget.
