The issue is fixed but now I’m pretty confused how, roughly 4 days ago I was facing the same problem with another plugin – Rank Math – I wasn’t able to connect my google account in it. So I deleted and reinstalled WordPress, thinking this is the last option that can help. Turns it did work out as then I was able to successfully setup both Google Site Kit and Rank Math. And after all this I saw your mail yesterday.
I have tried setting it up with the previous admin path before. The plugin worked normally with cloudflare previously, it’s just after a malware attack somedays later after I restored the site(was still working fine) out of where the issue happened. I was trying to setup captcha but at that time the site kit was already not working not the captcha thing should have no relation with this issue.
I have sent you the details in the form 🙂
1. It was working all fine with all my plugins including all security plugins and cloudflare, I can say it was fine in the entire month of November.
2. It asks me to sign in, after clicking the sign in button and completing the sign process it just redirects me to my homepage. When I go and visit the plugin again, there it again asks me to sign in.
3. I cannot really say that, here.Yes, I have already tried that.
Yes, it’s the same issue I am encountering after following the troubleshooting mode steps – Being redirected after signing in.
Tried with the troubleshooting, still isn’t working..
Yes, the site kit was working fine previously on this website.
The google site kit plugin asks me to sign in, even after I do that, it just redirects to my website’s homepage and then when I go and check out the plugin again, it again asks me to sign in, kinda looped.
