I can confirm that I’m experiencing the same issue after updating to Page Builder by SiteOrigin 2.34.4. The Post Carousel widget ignores the selected custom post type and always displays the default post post type instead.

Rolling back to the previous version resolves the issue on my site as well.

Thanks for providing the beta release. I’ll test it and report back with the results.
