OK, thanks. I’ve tried all of your suggestions. I’ll see if the people at FB have any further ideas. Thanks again.
Hi, and thanks a lot for the help. Do you know what could possibly be causing this issue? Could it be something to do with my server? Using the debugger seems to be just a temporary solution, as I’m already having problems with that same url I posted here initially (image not showing, and reports of circular redirect path). I need to fix this somehow, otherwise the problem will continue. Also, and this seems strange, the url seems to post OK (with image) on my profile page (facebook.com/tonygdunnell) but not on the FB homepage or on my FB pages. Does that suggest any particular issue. Thanks again for the help.

In reply to: Post Permalink Changed After Edit? What Should I Do?Thanks Peter. I just tried to manually change the url back to the old version (with the weird %E2%80%99 character code included) and WordPress won’t even accept it — just removes it straight away. So I guess a redirect might be the only option to get the Likes etc back, but I doubt it would work as the old url still links to the new anyway. Strange.

In reply to: Post Permalink Changed After Edit? What Should I Do?Thanks for the input Peter. The thing is, the new url works as it is, and the old one still seems to point to it (so old existing links around the web still work — which seems kind of bizarre — so if you click on the old link above, it still works).
And I’m guessing that if I did redirect the old url to the new, I’ll still lose all the social media counts. But I’m not sure about that — would a redirect carry over counts for Likes, Tweets etc?
Cheers.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] CloudFlare API errorHi, has anyone got an answer for this? I was getting this message…
“CloudFlare plugin detected. We recommend removing the plugin as it offers no additional capabilities when W3 Total Cache is installed. This message will disappear when CloudFlare is removed.”
…so I deactivated the CloudFlare plugin. I then immediately got the “Unable to communicate with CloudFlare API: Setting: minify Unknown token or email” message.
I reactivated the supposedly unneccessary CloudFlare plugin to see if the message would go away. Which now leaves me with both messages and no idea what’s going on!
Can I ignore the “Unable to communicate….” message, or does it mean there is indeed something wrong with my CloudFlare set-up?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Question About Reinstalling W3 Total CacheHi Frederick. It all worked out well, I’ve reinstalled W3 and things are running fine. I’ve no idea what the problem was with CloudFlare, but I’ll probably give it another try at some point.
Cheers.
