Forgot to mention that we’re also using NextGen Gallery SEO titles.
On a site with a very similar setup (including the titles plugin), we’re not experiencing this issue.
I have WP_CACHE enabled and still see the “Twitter did not respond error” frequently. Right now, I’m using WP 2.8.5 and Wickett 1.0.2.
It appears to be possible to comment out lines 596-597 in wp-content/plugins/google-analytics-for-wordpress/googleanalytics.php as long as you don’t need the menu item in the admin interface immediately.
