I sincerely apologize, however what you are describing is a factor of the theme’s design itself and not specific to the server environment. The method to correct this would be altering the actual files governing the configuration of menus under that theme. I do not have this kind of link on the left; however I have a link symbol.

I am using names instead of link in my listing of books but under the name the link is built in.

But with this symbol I have to get out of the page, find the book in my media file ONE BY ONE and find it’s link information, copy it, get out of the media file back into the book listing post and insert it into the link symbol. Inbetween I have to update the pages every time or the info is is. Extremely tedious now to do this.

It appears that using names of books to replace links to make it pretty is making this fixing cumbersome.

Thank you for all your help. It looks like I have to fix hundreds of links one at a time in this cumbersome way.

Or is there a better way?

you said I won’t lose the links if I use Notepad. That did not make sense to me but I followed your instructions and I lost all the links on the 13 books that I posted this way.

I do not understand how “resetting the plugin folder” relates to the tags that I have deleted that cause endless 404 errors. The plug ins did not cause it so why would I have to reset the plug ins? I caused it. Can you explain the logic behind resetting the plugins? Thanks.
