In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] EUM and Bluehost updatesI got an answer of sorts from Bluehost.
Essentially, turning off their “automatic update” buttons doesn’t do anything.
The option in WordPress tools , is not working properly , because sometimes , if there is new updates for the website it will be updated automatically . and there is some issue with WordPress tools update option which we are aware of , and our admins are working on to resolve the issue .
Inserting define(‘AUTOMATIC_UPDATER_DISABLED’, true) into the wp-config file is the ONLY way to keep Bluehost from forcing updates.
Which renders EUM useless for this client, and anyone else using Bluehost 🙁
Not your fault.
OMG sorry Bryle!
And, thank you David, I hope to hear from him soon too! Nothing so far, but it’s the weekend 🙂
David – I am waiting for another reply from Bryle.
She was initially confused and thought I meant my UpdraftPlus license would cover Keyy (or something like that). I think I’ve clarified that you told me to use the UDP pre-sales contact form; asking her to route to the right person or even to you, but I still haven’t heard back.
I’m anxious to get Keyy on a client site, your assistance is most appreciated!
Peace,
Terri ZThank you, David.
Yes a pre-sales question form for Keyy would be nice, I looked all over and couldn’t figure out how to contact anyone! I have an UDP account already, so I’ll head over there.
(Might this be a good topic to pin to the top of the support forum?)
Peace,

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Host updates vs EUMWhoops – spoke too soon.
I’m looking at my client’s wp-config.php and it has this line in it:
define( ‘WP_AUTO_UPDATE_CORE’, true );
Which is what I’d expect because I have updates enabled through the host.
BUT – I’m not seeing the warning message in the EUM Advanced tab?

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] Not compatible with WP RollbackI was searching for something else and stumbled on this – just wanted to throw in my $0.02 and say that I have EUM 7.0.1 and wp-rollback 1.5 installed and it’s working fine for me, I see roll-back links as normal.
Hope this helps.
Ah, thanks for that clarification.
I’m waiting for my client to get more info from her friend, I’ll keep you posted!
Peace,

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] General tab won’t loadPlease note my problem with http://terriz.com/suemarie/ is fixed after migrating it to another location. I think my problem was something on my install, not with EUM.
Thank for looking into it though, you helped nudge me to move the site anyway!
Peace,
Terri ZP.S.– Leaving this thread unresolved for Nono @tombstones

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] General tab won’t loadAlso – it successfully updated the site to WP 4.9.3 and then 4.9.4 in recent days, maybe there’s just something wrong with my General Tab 🙁

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] General tab won’t loadFYI I also deactivated and deleted this plugin and then re-installed it. And restored a database backup from a few days ago. All with no success 🙁

In reply to: [Easy Updates Manager] General tab won’t loadApparently REST API is enabled: https://terriz.com/suemarie/wp-json
I think this is how you test that? According to Google 😉
