@myancy, try appending /wp-login.php to your website URL.

If you cannot access the dashboard at all because of an error after logging in, I would suggest connecting to your site via FTP, and renaming the UM extension related plugin folders. That will deactivate the plugins and allow you to login.

Thanks for the response! Thinking about this more, I do have a plugin that auto updates all plugins when a new version is available… So what I’m thinking is that when the UM 2.04 was uploaded to the repository, it auto updated.
When I logged in to the admin dashboard, I saw errors relating to the 1.x plugins and it said that they couldn’t work with 2.0. 2.04 was in a deactivated state because I had the 1.x UM extensions installed.
So the problem is that the upgrade process doesn’t account for the 1.x extensions being installed. It should at least deactivate them so the upgrade can complete. That would be preferable than to lose all UM functionality.
Does UM 2.0 not get along with User Role Editor?

@myancy, @mfrie01, see my post here for a solution.
UM is actually decativated. Check your plugins, deactivate UM 1.x extensions, activate UM 2.x, run the upgrade (The upgrade will not work with the UM 1.x extensions activated). Then you’ll have to deal with setting up permissions on menus and morte probably. But at least your site will require login again.

UM 2.0 uses a different role scheme. They tried to revert back to the default WP roles. My guess is it has something to do with that. I’m seeing the same issue on my site.

Deactivate all of the UM 1.x extensions, and then run the UM 2.0 upgrade. It should run after that. You may have to manually install the 2.0 extensions. Can’t remember where they are located.
