In reply to: [WP Popular Posts] output content tags to variables/Basically, I want to show the top trending headline within the body of all posts … except on the top trending post, where I want to show the latest post headline instead.
I’m editing the single.php file, and am working within the loop. I figured if I could pull in the ID for that top trending post, I could assign it to a variable. And then use a simple if/then statement to show X if top trending post ID equals current post ID, else show Y.

In reply to: [Stream] Had to roll back to 3.2.0I’ve tweeted the 4 developers for this plugin, notifying them of this thread. Hopefully they’re able to resolve this issue shortly.

In reply to: [Stream] Had to roll back to 3.2.0Just pushing this back to the attention of the developer of this fine plugin: The latest version has a fatal bug in it.

In reply to: [Stream] Had to roll back to 3.2.0Same problem, I think. This is the fatal error I’m seeing on our sites:
PHP Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /nas/content/live/sitename/wp-content/plugins/stream/connectors/class-connector-settings.php on line 722
“You can disable the notice by updating your PHP, so weβre not disregarding WordPress standards.”
A dismissive, arrogant response. Typical of what I’ve come to expect from Yoast. Whose developers spend all their time defending their product, and fixing bugs in their product. They must have the word “bugfixes” 1,000 times in their changelog.
Thanks for the update, Eric!
Thanks, Eric.
