In reply to: Decoupling Title Block to Page Title Behaviour- Keep the Title block (Page Title) as it is — this controls the browser tab title and SEO title. WordPress manages it automatically.
- Use an H1 block inside the page content for the visible heading (e.g. “Get in Touch”).
👉 The reason is that WordPress separates structure and design:
- SEO Title (backend) = browser tab + search engines
- H1 Heading (frontend) = what visitors see on the page
✔ If you want full control over the browser title, use an SEO plugin like Rank Math or Yoast SEO, which lets you set a custom SEO title without affecting your page layout.
Forum: WordPress Mobile App
In reply to: Can’t share “enhanced” photo from android photosThis is a pretty common issue when sharing edited/enhanced images from Google Photos to WordPress apps, and it usually happens due to format or temporary file handling problems. Here are a few things you can try:
- First, try sharing the Original version (since you said it works) and then compare file size/format with Enhanced
- Download the Enhanced photo first to your device, then manually upload it in WordPress instead of direct share
- Clear cache of both Google Photos + WordPress app and try again
- Make sure WordPress app has full storage + media permissions enabled
- Update both apps to latest version (sometimes this is a compatibility bug after Google Photos updates)
- If it still happens, try saving the enhanced image as a new file (edit → save copy) and then share
Most likely it’s a temporary compatibility issue between Google Photos “Enhanced” export format and WordPress media importer, not your phone or site.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: critical issueThis usually happens due to a server or firewall issue blocking connection to wordpress.org. Try disabling security plugins temporarily, checking with your hosting provider, and ensuring no firewall rules are blocking outgoing requests. You can also try changing DNS settings and running a Site Health check in WordPress.
