Could you please share a screenshot of that section you want to remove then it will be easy to give solution.
Try reinstalling the theme by deleting the old one, then deactivate all plugins before reactivating them. After that, reset your permalinks to ‘Post Name’ and save the changes. Then, attempt to install the theme again. Hopefully, it will work.
