i think i understand what you are saying about he slider as opposed to text. i think what i need to do is make the home page appear as if it were just a regular page. whats the simplest way to do that?

i’m still having 1 minor issue however. on tablet width it still forces the text area down on the home page only. it desplays perfectly on all other pages…
