OK….so lemme see if I am following you….you are basically saying that I need to “convert” over to a wordpress file…..and by running it through a free WordPress.com blog first….that will make my posts more compatible for WordPress.org? Then would I have to do the automated import from a WordPress blog….on the back-end of my website?

Another question I had was that when we did the Blogger import….it didn’t bring over all of the images/files, etc. Do you think that by doing it the way you suggested above….would insure that those pictures are all brought over? The pictures all show up on the back-end/dashboard of our wordpress site….but on the front-end or what our readers would see…they don’t translate over.

Here’s a third question….we linked up to past posts quite often….when we switch over to our wordpress site, those URLs obviously change….will wordpress convert those over for us or do we need to go back into every post and fix all of those??

You seem to know what you are talking about….so I am just throwing those questions out there. 🙂 Thank you!!

JAMES!!! You rock! Thanks for answering. Yes, I tried the automated Blogger importer. I wondered if that was the problem….but since I am SO new to WordPress….I wasn’t sure how to try the file importer. Thank you for the guide on getting an export file from my Blogger blog….I just learned how to do that yesterday….it was surprisingly easy! 🙂 As for importing from a Blogger export file….could you tell me how to do that? I can only find where you click on “Blogger” and it does it for you.

Thank you SO much for your help!!!
