Partly solved. I deactivated a bunch of plug-ins.
Now I’d just like to have access to the demo blocks / items.
Thanks. I assumed that because jetpack are the authors of intergalactic2 you’d be able to help, as the theme doesnt seem to have it’s own forum like most.

The only extra plugins I’m using are Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll, Easy Google Fonts, and advanced wordpress backgrounds (because I don’t know how to get full width single column containers that also hold icons).
