In reply to: [Contact Form 7] [Plugin: Contact Form 7] fatal error on activationHi Takayuki,
We are also having this problem. I understand your explanation that the plugin won’t work in a symbolically linked directory.
However many people set up wordpress to have the program in one directory and the user data on a different partition in a different directory.
Linking the “wp-content” directory is how this is achieved. Many other plugins support linking. Can you help us fix this problem?
We’ll work together if you help us. Thank you!

In reply to: Media Library vs. FTP’d filesOk, I found a plugin called “Add from server” which allows me to add files from the server to the media library! Thank you for this plugin!

In reply to: WordPress 2.7 Media LibraryOr at least allow us to add a media file via URL like the wordTube plugin does…
Sigh… all this open source software has really spoiled me badly!
Thanks for all the efforts, WP crew!

In reply to: Media Library vs. FTP’d filesYes, please! Tell us how you “took care of it”. I have a whole set of files I’d like not to have to re-upload (they are from a conversion and already in the uploads directory under their proper year and month). Is there any automagic way to populate the media library db from the files that are not currently registered there?
Seems like there must be something… although I’ve seen a few posts and people have mentioned fixing it and getting around it, but they never seem to leave their methods for a clueless blogger like me!
Help!

In reply to: AAPass Pro:Fatal error line 458 when accessing optionsNimicohgr: thanks for the explanation about PHP5 functions that are not in PHP4. I activated PHP5 on my server and I can configure AAPass Pro options now. Thank you very much.
cduke250: I encountered a similar error message that Nimicohgr found with the “switch to Apache” recommendation. I didn’t get a fatal error, just a message with 404 during the configuration screen load. I was able to configure the options and I think I am protected (at least I get asked for a password when I try to access the wp-admin directory, so this is good!)
Let me know if you need more information!
