There is a product called WordPress Artist/Band Manager, but I have not tried it. You can find info about it at the following link:

However, I think http://www.jamroom.net, a non-Wordpress product, is probably the most comprehensive solution for managing a band/musician portal/directory/community.
Thanks. The literature on WordTour seems to suggest that it would have done for the job; too bad it’s no longer under active development. I’ll continue looking at Jamroom and JArtists.
Have you found any suitable alternative to WordTour? I myself am looking for a solution, and have only come across jamroom.net and a Joomla extension named JArtist Manager.
