I actually used the pp button shortcode, maybe it will work for you too. Once I updated everything and refreshed my website, it actually showed up.
unfortunately quite a lot of Elementor’s own training material and documents is outdated and does not reflect the current version of Elementor
I asked exactly the same question about 4 weeks ago and never received a reply :-(( so I changed themes to OceanWP (also free).
I have watched many hours of video tutorials, unfortunately many of the elementor created ones are outdated due to advancements / developments of elementor. It would be great if videos where categorized by date / elementor version.
