In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Ad don’t display, even in previewShiela,
How are you adding your ads to the post (e.g. template, widget, post)?
Where should the ads appear?
Cheers,

Looks like your issue was with an ad tag with an extra CR in it. Per our conversation, it is now fixed.

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Inline display in themmetabrandon:
you can call <?php advman_ad(‘name’); ?> where ‘name’ is the name of the ad you want to display. To rotate a group of ads, name them the same thing.

Hmm. If you cannot see the ad in the preview, it is most likely an issue with the ad itself. Skype me (switzer) and I can take a look at your system live.

How do you add ads to your blog? Via widgets, or do you edit the template?
After you add an ad, can you see it when you click ‘preview’?
What is the URL to your site, and where should I see the ads?

In reply to: [Plugin: Advertising Manager] Adsense policy – ad numberjorgemarsal:
If you edit the default settings (click the ‘Google Adsense’ on the ad list screen), you can remove ‘3’ in the ‘Max Ads Per Page’ setting.
I will spend some time here and ammend the default if needed.

Could it be that a specific ad is not displaying for another reason? For example, if the ad has restrictions based on author, page type, etc., or if the ad weight is 0?
Also, if you try to display more that 3 google adsense ads on a page, you may not be able to (per their T&C)…
Contact me on Skype (switzer) if you still are having problems.

Great to hear that it is back up and running.

Advertising Manager rotates ads. Basically, name all the ads you want to rotate the same thing. For example, if you have an ad at the top of your sidebar, and you want to rotate Google Adsense with Adify, you would name them both:
‘right-sidebar-top’
Advertising Manager would rotate these ads. You can change the weight setting in the ads to optimise the rotation – for example, if you want to show Adify 75% of the time and Google 25% of the time, you would set the weight of the Adify ad to 3, and leave the Google ad at 1.
I hope this helps,

What type of ads are you using (e.g. google adsense, adbrite, generic HTML, etc.)? What settings were there before, but are missing now?

verilix:I fixed the adsense account-id issue. Upgrading to 3.4.7 will fix the account ID.
