I have a similar issue with the posts, except my problem is that it’s ONLY showing 5, even when I have that option not written in the shortcode. Basically, I have my blog on a side page and I want to paginate it, but it’s only showing the 5 most recent posts with no pagination..

Cheers for any help!

In reply to: [WP Supersized] Confused about WP Supersized: It's only for backgrounds?I’m pretty sure the website I linked is just straight up php/css with no CMS .. but NextGen requires you to create tons of galleries first.. when I do it, you can see what happens: Photos/

In reply to: [WP Supersized] Confused about WP Supersized: It's only for backgrounds?I know a guy who used the Supersized plugin (but he’s not using WordPress), and when you click on the album link it opens in a full screen slideshow.. http://withoutbaggage.com/photographs/
why does his do it if the wp plugin version of it doesn’t??

In reply to: [List category posts] [plugin- List category posts] stlyingI don’t need recent posts perse, but rather calling up a specific category on a specific page (since I want to keep them all separate). Can this still do that?

In reply to: Multiple blogswhat you should do is what I’ve done:
My domain is http://www.worldresolution.net and I have several websites within the domain under subdomains such as
http://www.worldresolution.net/travel and
http://www.worldresolution.net/blogWhat I’ve done (and the SIMPLEST thing for you to do) is used my cPanel to create new subdomains, then install fresh wordpress installations on each subdomain, thus effectively having several websites on your domain. From there, you can create an index.php or .html and place it in the /public_html/ folder and code it so that if someone tries to go directly to http://www.afinida.com they will have the choice to see whichever of the 4 websites you wish them to see. Another option is to have people be automatically redirected to your favorite (or most popular) blog.

In reply to: How to rename the wordpress admin (wp-admin)1)why the hell would you want to rename the admin folder? doing so would cause you a LOT of problems, as you would have to go into all the coding and edit it for each time a file from within the folder is called to action.
2)Your wordpress could be running slowly for several reasons:
a) you have too many plugins activated.
b) your cache needs to be deleted.
c) your webhost hasn’t allocated enough memory to your system to allow
for smooth processing. My recommendation: if you have more than 20 plugins, delete the unnecessary ones.

In reply to: moved WP from root to sub. nav links no longer workingOne problem I see is that you own terezakis.com .net .info
You are using several domains in conjunction with HTML and WP. To be honest, it’s a damn headache. If you look at my set-up, I have 2 domains for different purposes:
http://www.worldresolution.net/travel
http://www.worldresolution.net/blog
These two are for my blogging; one about my personal life, and the other about my travels. I use 2 different wordpress installations on subdomains.http://www.orientalemporium.net
This is for my e-Commerce website; I have only 1 wordpress installation located in my main directory. What you should be doing is merging all your HTML files onto 1 domain, and then have the other websites re-direct. For example, if someone goes to http://www.terezakis.info it will send them to the http://www.terezakis.com .. you DON’T need .info, .com, .net, and .me.
Before I help you with the next step, I strongly suggest doing that.

In reply to: Password glitchhey paul, I went into my phpmyadmin, found my database name, clicked on wp_users, changed my password from the encrypted info to a regular password, and then used the emergency script (search for emergency script on this website’s internal search). Now it works 🙂

In reply to: moved WP from root to sub. nav links no longer workingWhat you forgot to do was edit your database and/or your permalinks to reflect the change. For starters, providing a link to the website would be key. After that, I’ll look and see the real issue.

In reply to: Password glitchThank god, I thought I was the only one. I downloaded the emergency.php script and it worked a few times, but it doesn’t work anymore. This is really starting to anger me when I have an e-Commerce website and am unable to access it.

In reply to: Removing Save OptionBut if you can remove their ability to view the source code, then it won’t be an issue 🙂 Watermarking can still be removed.
I’m not sure whether to link via Picasa (which does allow direct saving), or upload all the photos to my website’s FTP with watermarks and remove the ability to view source code and save link/image as
