I’d suggest forgetting this guy. He’s not at all responsive, and this glitch is a absurd deal-breaker.
After checking out all the plugins, I switched to Wufoo forms. wufoo.com
It’s much easier to use than CCF, and has even more capabilities.
You get three free forms, great online user guides, it’ll keep a database of contacts, and it integrate with MailChimp and a bunch of other apps as well…

Am with you on this one. I have repeatedly tried contacting the programmer with no response. He apparently doesn’t check out the forum, either. He has since updated the plugin several times, but the issue seems to remain the same.
***Not having the option of having form emails come through “from” the person who filled out the form is insane. It means copying and pasting to reply.
Or we all missing something?
I have been over and over the plugin and the forums and have tried hacking the php, but nothing works.
Such a weird oversight on an otherwise cool plugin. I am looking for alternatives now. Too bad he’s incomunicado.

Thanks for the reply. My problem is that i’m using custom sidebars, and each one needs social media. As far as i can tell, the only place you can enter in the urls is after it’s been placed in a sidebar. I was hoping there was a way to enter in universal values, so that it’d display the same info wherever once placed it.

This means i’d have to re-input 6 urls manually on all 43 pages? There must be a way to have one setting for all instances where the widget is used. Am i missing it? Please help.

The conditional tag stuff looks promising, but i’m not sure what to do with it. What goes in CSS, what goes in php, and how do i congfigure the menu and how do i put its hook in the tag?

Spacing issue: http://eloquentarts.org/about/cooltrips/ (only seems to be a prob on pix with captions. I tried changing the cap line height, too.)
I have all text translated. Only need to figure out how to replace the main (pink) nav on certain pages. Or maybe i need to do another version of the site on the same URL? Possible?
