Found an issue somewhere between this and facebook like plug-in.
Could this be both plug-ins are using the same functions/code?

Also only seems to occur when I link to a venue with the google map.
I had this problem after moving to 1and1 hosting.
In 1and1 control panel changed the PHP global setting back down to 5.2 (was 5.4) and works again.
I suspect a bug running under 5.4
