Thanks, maybe it’s just a Chrome issue. Because you’re right, I don’t see it in Firefox or Safari, but it does appear in Chrome. screenshot
Thanks for the suggestion. I checked the functions.php file and couldn’t find any evidence of favicon or file with .ico extension. Any other possibilities?
