Thank you. We found the culprit – It was the Mailchimp plugin – deactivating and updating the plugin did the trick
Before we switch to default theme and deactivate. I would like to have a clear understanding of what is expected to be the result, and how to move forward afterwards. This is a live customer deployment, so just reverting to default and deactivating plugins for at longer period is not viable for them
