Thank you for your response. No, it wasn’t a timeout error. It turned out that my WordPress tmp file kept getting full b/c it had a 125MB max. DreamHost was able to change that to unlimited so now I can upload anything. 🙂

Yes. Just go to your Dashboard, scroll down to Settings. You’ll see a menu on the right side with some of your plug-ins. Click on Reftagger.
It’ll open to the Reftagger Editor and you can just uncheck the third item on the list that says, “Insert Logos Bible Software links” Just uncheck that option, then click Update and voila! No more “L” icon.
