My site is still under construction and you would also need to register as a user to go to the Post Ad page (where the issue is). However, this issue also happens on the Demo site for my theme.

If you go to “Post an Ad” and select Directory Type “For Sale”, an “Add Images” section will appear further down on the page. When I upload my horizontal picture there, it uploads as vertical.

This can be fixed if I rotate my picture 360degrees (or just 90 then 90 back to return to original angle) using Paint, etc, and save before uploading the picture. However, I cannot expect my users to do this every time.

This is apparently due to the fact that “iPhones (and a number of other devices, but iPhones are by far the most common) save their images un-rotated, and expect other people’s software to handle the problem later.”

Unfortunately, the image-rotation-fixer plugin suggested on this post did not work for me.

Yes, the setting resets itself in the theme editor itself. Other settings such as font color work fine.

Is there any way I can send you a link outside of this forum? (I read you can’t delete forum posts and I don’t want my site url up here.)
