Had the same problem.
I’ve installed the newest version (3.3), and exported the file just fine. But I encountered a problem while restoring database during import, got stuck at 41% and nothing happened. Contacted support and got an older version of the plugin (3.2.2-48-gc3416e1). Installed it on both versions of the site, and both export and import worked perfectly.
Interesting thing that I noticed was that while importing, the newer version of the plugin export file had around 6000 files in a database for import, while the older one had just 3000 and something. Maybe it has something to do with the server upload limitations, not sure.
