If I query “UK” on a job with “London” as a location it works fine. It doesn’t work for synonyms as I described earlier like “UK” and “United Kingdom”. It’s part of the product:

Thanks for your response.
Proximity is more of a nice-to-have, I understand it’s not current functionality.
However, UK and United Kingdom not being considered as the same location is an issue though, and this is basic functionality of the app: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/geocoding-with-googles-maps-api/Any open issues on that?

Understand your busy with the closing of the plugin.
But yes this is relevant, the lay-out shift is causing a poor Google Sitespeed score, which will weigh for ranking starting may. So if there’s no way to fix this I’m forced to move to a different plug in.
What happens(i think) is that once the site recognizes that it’s a mobile user, the lay-out shifts from desktop to mobile mode
