Solved it!
In my case, a security plugin was interfering. I forgot to use standard trouble-shooting; deactivate one plugin at a time!
I also have this issue on exporting. When clicking export, it says “done creating an empty archive’ then hangs there. I downloaded the version mentioned above in this thread, but recieved the same result. Anything else i can do? It stopped working on its own a couple of days ago.
